Immediately below are a few interviews conducted by Rick. Just click on the name and you'll be there. A few more are listed at the bottom of the page, and I will get them on the site in the coming weeks.

Connexions  July, 1995.
Hyemeyohsts, who goes by Wolf, is author of the classic Seven Arrows and is best known for his Medicine Wheel work. He had just released Lightningbolt. When we sat down in Reston, VA to begin the interview, I quietly presented him with a crystal I had carried for some years.

Wildfire  Summer 1996
I first met Joseph in North Carolina in early 1993. He has written a number of books, and produced incredible videos to extend his teachings. He led the first Long Dance I ever participated in also. He is a world-renowned artist and an effective activist for Native American rights and issues.

Wildfire  Fall 1996
This interview with Grandfather Bear Heart, a Muscogee-Creek elder, former roadman for the Native American Church and Baptist minister, took place in the North Carolina mountains. I admit I'm not too wild about imported religions, but once we get past that, there is much to learn here. Last time I spoke to Bear Heart was at the Grand Opening of the National Museum of the American Indian in 2004.

Connexions  December, 1993
If you don't know who Deepak Chopra is, do a  quick search online before reading this. But be warned, he tells it like it is and if you need to defend the institution of religion, you're better off passing on this one. However, he also delivers one of the best comments on spirituality v. religion you will find.

Connexions, March, 1994
At 21, Andrew Harvey was the youngest professor in the history of All Soul's College (Oxford) and has deep roots in India and is the subject of the British documentary, The Making of a Mystic. He is a prolific author, a philosopher, and echoes Chopra's remarks on the damage organized religion has done.

A few comments on being mixed-blood, a mini-history lesson, a question for the Bashers, (those who pursue a path of ignorance and self-righteous posturing), and one view of the Spirit Path.
Published February, 2008
Answers the question regarding what mixing medicine is and is not.

Connexions  September, 1994
Author of The Dancing Wu Li Master, Gary played a big part in bringing modern physics into the awareness of the general population and explaining spiritual concepts in practical terms. This interview was conducted shortly after Seat of the Soul hit the scene.
